• Google has launched a Crisis Center and Person Finder for Japan earthquake & tsunami victims.
This footage of the tsunami is absolutely riveting. The water starts as a trickle down the street and within 6 1/2 minutes it turns into a surge of water strong enough to move entire buildings.

i’ve watched this several times now, it’s terrifying and compelling. i’m so happy around minute 4 when he finally moves up the ramp – does anyone know what happened to his building? presumably this guy – and his camera – are ok?
