Plot:  A not-so-nice editor, Maragret Tate (Bullock), discovers she is about to be deported back to Canada because her green card has expired, and realizes her only option to stay in the good old USA and keep her high powered job is to become engaged to and marry a US citizen.  Enter Andrew Paxton (Reynolds), her under-appreciated and  much abused assistant.

Kate says: 3 1/2 stars     I realize this movie follows the typical romantic comedy formula – they hate each other, then they love each other,  then they almost lose each other…you know the drill, BUT it actually works this time.  Bullock and Reynolds play off each other so well and create many funny moments.  I’m a sucker for a good romantic comedy.
