Liz’s rant: The road trip

As I mentioned Monday, I took a little adventure last week, heading off to the nation’s capitol for four days. I wasn’t alone in my venture – let’s just call it 3 1/2 men and me. What was I thinking? Just so we all know where I stand, my idea of travel involves stopping only for gas and potty breaks when absolutely necessary, eating in the car and holding the pedal to the metal. Liz’s Rant: On the road again

Let me begin by saying that I was afforded the unique opportunity to again visit Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center to see off more than 3,000 of  Tennessee’s 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment – the finest National Guardsmen the world has to offer. They are headed back to Iraq. But that’s really another story. Because when I am writing about them, I am in my element. And today, I am going to rant.
