Beatles Mania Returns

Beatles Mania has once again invaded the the good old USA, or more specifically…my house.  At this very moment as I type, (10pm Wed night)I have not one, but TWO Beatles Rock Band parties are going on simultaneously in my house.  The upstairs party is full of bubbly, loud, and not-afraid-to-make-fools-of-themselves, Jr. High aged kids and one oldie…ME (but I’m not loud and I am definitely afraid of making a fool of myself.)  It’s an animated raucous group. The downstairs party consists of the much more reserved high school and college aged kids who are trying to look aloof and uninterested while playing, but just try stepping in front of them and blocking their view for a millisecond for a photo  and you risk a public flogging, not that I was … Read entire article »

American Idol News – Ellen Replaces Paula!

Fox’s popular American Idol series has announced that Ellen DeGeneres will be replacing long-time judge Paula Abdul, who quit during the summer over  salary issues. Ellen DeGeneres is New Judge on ‘American Idol’ DeGeneres said in a Fox news release, “I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol, I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. Twilight Zone – New Moon Soundtrack Details Revealed

Fans of the Stephenie Meyer Twilight series know what a vital part music played in her creation of the book series.  The Twilight Soundtrack became an instant best seller, and fans eagerly await the release of the New Moon Soundtrack yet to come. Atlantic Records (the record label that produced the Twilight Soundtrack) has made the following announcement: “The first single has officially been confirmed for the New Moon Soundtrack! RoadTrip Soundtrack Once the weather starts to warm up and the sky is bright blue with big fluffy, Simpson’s-like clouds… that’s when I start to think about vacations. My favorite type of vacation is going anywhere near an ocean, but to me, the most fun part of vacationing is getting there. The thing about roadtrips is that it doesn’t matter if you’re going to another part of your state or across the country. What makes a roadtrip a roadtrip, is who you’re with and THE MUSIC. The perfect music and the long drive is what makes your vacation more than a trip, it makes it a journey.
