Kate says: 4 stars “I love this movie!  “The Princess and the Frog” will surely take it’s place in the Disney Classics line-up.  What do you do when animation has become so realistic that the only way to make it more realistic is to loose the animation and use real people?  You go old school again and return to the glory of the hand drawn era.  This movie is pure fun and Disney Princess fantasy, using the same tried and true  formula as the past classics.  And I say hooray for that!”

And it uses (calm me down here) lovingly hand-drawn animation that proceeds at a human pace, instead of racing with odd smoothness.
