Recipe of the week – Easy Banana Bread
Back by popular demand – another cheater recipe.
Since Banana Bread is one of the most searched for recipes on the internet, I decided it’s time to share my Cheater Banana Bread Recipe. It’s really so easy you won’t believe it. Seems like you readers like to save time in the kitchen by cheating also. (I do not, however, condone cheating in other areas of life, except for the possible exception of your putt putt golf score.)
Kate’s Cheater Banana Bread
- 3 eggs
- 1 spice cake mix
- 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts or raisins (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together until blended. Divide batter between
two greased bread pans. Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into bread comes out clean.
How unbelievably easy is that? Then you can just kick back with a slice of banana bread and enjoy your coffee break with Liz and Kate.

Wish I had a spice cake. That sounds so good!
I tried this with a carrot cake and it was delicious!
