Coffee Break with Liz and Kate

The stores are busy putting all their summer items on clearance and making room for the back-to-school supplies.   It was on one of these school supply rows that these fun and bright Scotch Tape dispensers caught my eye.  We have a problem with tape at my house.  It seems as if I am constantly buying those 3-packs of tape,  you know, the little plastic rolls, and by the end of the week there is no tape to be found.   Must be in the same black hole as the missing socks and flip flops.

So these bright and fun tape dispensers caught my eye.  One is a Scotch Pop-up Tape Dispenser. It’s the purple one in the picture.  You just slip the pre-cut pack of tape in the plastic dispenser, slip it over your hand (a piece of elastic keeps it in place)  and voila! out pops one piece of tape at a time.  No more pieces of tape that are 8 inces long because you couldn’t get the tape to tear.   And it’s refillable.  I loved it and would HIGHLY recommend it.  It’s going to come in very handy at Christmas-time.

The other fun tape dispenser is a new Scotch product…The Magic Tape Fun Donut Dispenser.  They come in all sorts of bright colors and are made of sturdy plastic.  Just slip in a roll , pull out the tape and then cut with the serrated pop up cutter.  I love this too, mostly because I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and I can still find it.  That’s got to be a record around my house!  I’ve found only one draw back…the two halves of the plastic donut come apart fairly easily, especially if the dispenser is dropped.  It’s an easy fix though, I just taped the two halves togather and it hasn’t come apart since.
