Kate’s Escapades – Refreshing Brazilian Lemonade
What better way to ease into spring than sitting on a porch swing, listening the the birds sing, and sipping a delicious refreshing Brazilian Lemonade?
Here’s something that you may not know…Brazilian Lemonade doesn’t actually contain any lemons? It’s true. It’s made from limes. I’m not sure why they didn’t just name it Brazilian Limeade. Makes a whole lot more sense to me, but unfortunately, no one consulted me in the naming of my favorite sunny day beverage.
Here’s my Brazilian Lemonade Recipe. So simple and soooo delicious!
m
Brazilian Lemonade
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups water

Directions
1. Wash limes and cut off the ends and slice into eight wedges. Put limes in a blender with the sugar, sweetened condensed milk, water, and ice.

This sounds delicious for a hot summer day -I am going to give it a try-even I should be able to make it without no problem
Looks delicious! Citrus drinks are my favorite. Now if only the price of limes would go down…

Limes with sweetened condensed milk?
I have to try this!
Love the recipe, this is what they do in Brazil too. And just so you know, in Brazil, the Portuguese name is limonada, which means lemonade. Which is even more weird because lemons are not very popular there.
This was a bit too tart for me. I’ll be adjusting the amount of sweet. I did make it as soon as I stumbled on it, thanks for sharing!
That looks really good! I’ll have to try it at my next bbq
I am making this tonight with dinner! Just bought all the stuff!
