Have you heard of this group? Because if you haven’t, you’re in for a great treat today.
“Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 100 missions involving tens of thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.” ~Improv Everywhere
I first discovered Improv Everywhere (IE) when my oldest daughter showed me one of their videos on YouTube. I immediately feel in love with this zany group and spent waaaay too much time the rest of that day watching videos of other missions. Let’s just say we may have had cereal for dinner that night.
Take a look at their one of their most popular missions. Words won’t do it justice.
Frozen Grand Central
Here’s Improv Everywhere’s latest mission – The MP3 Experiment Seven. They took 3,000 people and had them download the same MP3 file and push play at exactly the same time, giving them instructions on tasks to complete simultaneously. It’s pretty awesome.
How much do I want to participate in an IE mission? Let’s just say I’m hoping my firstborn isn’t reading today! (Haha…just kidding firstborn. You can join me.)
