ectopic pregnancy case study

We dirty a lot of dishes at my house. I have to run the dishwasher every single day. In fact, I could probably run it twice a day, but that is something I absolutely refuse to do. No one should have to do two dishwasher loads a day, so instead, I carefully place it all into one load, kind of like puzzle pieces. Suffice it to say, my dishwasher is one of my very best friends, but paying for the expensive automatic dishwasher soap is not. So today, I’ve got for you my recipe for Homemade Automatic Dishwasher Detergent. There are only 4 ingredients and it takes just minutes to make. Plus, it’s eco-friendly, if you’re into that kind of stuff. Give it a try!

Homemade Automatic Dishwasher Detergent!

  • 2 cups Borax
  • 2 cups Washing Soda
  • 1 cup salt
  • 8 packages of lemonade flavor, unsweetened kool aid mix (for the citric acid)

Mix the above four ingredients, store in a clean sealed container.

Use 1 Tablespoon of powder for each load. (One Tablespoon seems to work fine for my dishwasher, but it’s okay to use two Tablespoons, if needed.)

This recipe makes about 80 Tablespoons (which equals 80 loads) at a cost of about $3.00.

Also, to help cut down on water spots and white film,  fill your jet dry reservoir with white vinegar for the rinse cycle.

Enjoy your Coffee Break
