gandhi jayanti essay

I’ve been noticing the new Philadelphia Cooking Cremes in the grocery store for the past several weeks, so being the sucker that I am for new products, I picked up the little Cooking Creme Recipes pamphlet, found a promising recipe, and decided to give it a try. This week’s recipe, Creamy Chicken Fajitas, uses the Santa Fe Style Cooking Creme and is so easy to prepare and super delicious.

Creamy Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients: (makes 8 fajitas)

  • 1 lb cooked chicken strips (or beef, if you prefer)
  • 1 onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 peppers, sliced thinly (I used green and orange)
  • 1 tub Santa Fe Cooking Creme
  • 8 flour fajita size tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Oops, I left the cheese out of the photo)

Directions:

Cook veggies in large nonstick skillet until tender. (I used cooking spray and garlic salt, also.)

Add cooked chicken and cook until heated, then add cooking creme, cook and stir for 2 more minutes.

Spoon onto center of warmed tortillas, top with cheese, fold over, and gobble it up!

How easy is that? The Santa Fe Cooking Creme mixed in with the chicken/veggie mixture adds such a creamy deliciousness to the fajitas! I think I’m going to have to experiment with the other three Cooking Creme flavors. Enjoy!
