Fox’s popular American Idol series has announced that Ellen DeGeneres will be replacing long-time judge Paula Abdul, who quit during the summer over  salary issues.

It seems that Jillian is standing by her man, Ed, even though accusations of Ed’s unfaithfulness are now surfacing. This week on America’s Got Talent we had 12 more performers vying for five spots – 4 audience picks and one judge’s choice.  It’s a tough choice this week as there was a lot more talent in this group than in the previous two groups. Too bad they didn’t split the talent up more evenly because to me it seems like more than 5 acts should be moving on from this group.

On Good Morning America today, host Tom Bergeron announced the 16 stars for this season’s Dancing with the Stars.
They’ve added a new twist to the season, three double eliminations back to back mid-season.
In addition, four new dances will be added: the Bolero, the Charleston, the Two Step and the Lambada.
