552 pages (and I loved every single one of them)
Death is the narrator for this WWII-era story about nine year old Lisa Meminger, who is taken to Molching, Germany to live with foster parents in a neighborhood of tough kids, sharp-tongued mothers and hard working dads.  It’s a story of faith, love and hope in the midst of tragedy
