this trick to make children, co-workers and spouses nicer and more agreeable. All it takes is a spritz of lemon-scented air freshener. In  recent series of Brigham Young University experiments, catching a whif of lemon-scented Windex made people more generous, altruistic and keen to volunteer! Why? “We subconsciously associate clean scents with good behavior, which is why they bring out the best in people,” explains Katie Liljenquist, M.S., lead author of the study. “This is a very simple way to promote better behavior at home and at work.”  The opposite is true, too:”There’s a link between bad smells and aggressive behavior,” Liljenquist reveals.
