Get your party on: 5/10-5/16

So I recently stepped on the scale and noticed an eight-pound, uh, shall we say descrepancy in my weight. Not exactly a finding that made me feel like dancin’. Then I looked at the calendar and observed that May 11 is Eat What You Want Day. Not a good combination to be sure. If I follow this holiday, I could easily see another two to three-pound gain overnight. Because what I want to eat is pasta and ice cream and other comfort foods. Why? Because I need to find comfort in the fact that I’ve gained eight pounds over the winter. In my most humble opinion, this holiday is ill-timed to say the least. Ghosts of Girlfriends Past PG 13

Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Michael Douglas Photographer Conner Mead (Matthew McConaughey), a self admitted womanizer, returns to the home of his late Uncle Wayne (Michael Douglas) also a self proclaimed womanizer, for the wedding of his younger brother.  Also there is Jenny, the only girl he ever loved and he is then confronted with ghosts past, present and future who try to help him with a second chance at love. Ebert – 2 stars Reelviews – 2 1/2 stars Kate – 1 1/2 stars   This movie was incredibly disappointing. Bad  story line, bad script, bad acting and crude and demeaning to women.  A ridiculous movie.
